John 10:10 says that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. It was in 2020 that both of us reached our lowest point. Although we were saved, we lived not knowing who we were in Christ, what we could have in Christ, or what we could do in Christ. We left the door cracked for Satan to come into our lives, our home, and our marriage. Little by little our focus was drawn away from Jesus and our Bibles. We played church and went through the motions and before we knew it, we weren't even going to church and our Bibles lay covered in dust on a shelf. The "things" and "busyness" of the world had taken precedence over our relationship with Jesus.
But God! John 10:10 also says that Jesus came so that we may have and enjoy life, in abundance, to the full, till it overflows. Like the Prodigal son in Luke 15:17, we came to ourselves and Jesus was there waiting with open arms. Jesus ransomed us both at the same time from the lies and deception we had fell under. We finally decided to step out of the curses in the first part on John 10:10 and into the blessings. We decided to completely sell out to Jesus and we gave Him every part of our life. We haven't looked back!

Once we came back to Jesus, our lives were healed and transformed by the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. In 2022, Satan put a mountain before us in the form of a breast cancer diagnosis. But God! We unleashed the power in God's Word and had an acceleration of faith that resulted in that mountain being dissolved! It was after this that we knew God had a plan for our lives and that we were to tell others about the goodness and the power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We weren't sure what the plan was, we just knew God had one.
It was in 2024 that the Lord called us to prison ministry. We answered the call! Since then we have been pursuing our commission. It is through obedience and the power of the Holy Spirit that we are able to carry out what God has called and commissioned us to do. He has instilled in us a love and compassion for those who are within the prison walls and who have not yet stepped over to the blessing side of John 10:10.
We are currently ministering every Friday Night at NECC in Bowling Green, Mo. Souls are being won and lives are being transformed. It is our vision and mission to take the Good News to every Missouri prison. We have never been more sure that we are doing what God wants us to do. We give Him ALL the praise, honor, and glory!
